Automobili Lamborghini is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, marking six decades since the iconic Italian sports car manufacturer began building its legendary cars. The company was established in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini, who wanted to disrupt the status quo of the sports car industry by creating a manufacturer that was passionate about innovation.

To mark the anniversary, Automobili Lamborghini has planned a series of events around the world, each one designed to engage customers and fans of the brand. The celebrations began in January with the reopening of the Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese, which has been renovated and rearranged for the occasion.

The Lamborghini Day Japan event took place on February 23, attracting hundreds of enthusiasts and collectors to Suzuka, while Lamborghini Day UK is scheduled for April 29 at Silverstone Circuit. The 60° Anniversario Giro tour in Italy will culminate on May 28 with the Concorso in Piazza, a concours d’elegance and festive party open to the public.

The 60th Anniversary Giro will take place in the US this summer, followed by the Giro China tour in September. Lamborghini Polo Storico, the division responsible for the protection, preservation, and restoration of the brand’s motoring heritage, will also organize the 60th Anniversary Polo Storico Tour in Italy for classic Lamborghini cars in September.

In October, the Vallelunga circuit in Rome will host the very first Lamborghini Festival, which is open to all fans of the brand. In November, the Grand Finals of the Super Trofeo Lamborghini, the one-make championship reserved for the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 racecars, will be held at the Vallelunga circuit.

The official Lamborghini Clubs around the world, which now have more than 1,600 members in 24 countries, are also planning their own anniversary tours and events.

Through these events, Automobili Lamborghini is celebrating its rich history and the passion for innovation and style that has defined the brand for the past 60 years. The company’s cars continue to inspire and excite car enthusiasts around the world, and the anniversary celebrations are a testament to the enduring legacy of Ferruccio Lamborghini and his dream of creating the ultimate sports car.
