After a hard year for Central Victoria tourism – the Bendigo region is set to take off once more thanks to Qantas’ plans to recommence flights from Sydney to Bendigo this month.
Set to recommence from next Monday December 7, 2020, the popular flights will once again connect regional Victoria’s arts and cultural centre Bendigo to Sydney, with the airline now flying the direct Sydney – Bendigo route five times per week.
Just in time for interstate travellers to plan their next Bendigo trip, the Bendigo Art Gallery have also announced their new highly anticipated exhibition – Mary Quant – Fashion Revolutionary with tickets on sale now, available for the perfect Christmas gift.
The recommencement of these direct flights will be an integral part of the 250 Qantas and Jetstar flights re-connecting Victoria and New South Wales and along with the Victorian State Governments $28 million travel voucher incentive scheme- regional Victorian travel is set for a major re-boot.
And with today’s announcement of the next Bendigo Art Gallery exhibition – Mary Quant – kicking off on March 20, 2021 through to July 11, 2021 – these initiatives are enthusiastically welcomed by locals and regional tourism partners.
