KUALA LUMPUR — Kelantan FC goalkeeping coach Riccardo Mattioli resigned effective today, said the team in a Facebook posting.
The football team also known as The Red Warriors (TRW) informed that the Italian coach made the decision due to matters concerning his mother’s medical condition which forced him to resign.
TRW said that he is friendly with the players and coaching staff and his absence would leave an impact towards the club.
“We accepted his decision and appreciated every sacrifice and commitment given from the start of the season.
“Thank you for your professional service and love given during your time with TRW Kelantan FC.
“We will always remember you, good luck in your future endeavours.” the club said.
