Chuan Spa, The Langham’s holistic wellness spa, has opened at its Gold Coast location. Overlooking Surfers Paradise, the luxury beachfront hotel is located within the central and tallest crystalline jewel tower. It features 169 rooms and suites, 170 serviced residences, two restaurants and an abundance of recreational facilities.
In Chinese, “Chuan” translates to flowing water, a symbol of rebirth, renewal and rejuvenation. The spa embraces the ancient philosophies of traditional Chinese medicine, offering holistic wellness treatments that incorporate the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Guests can have their treatments personalised based on their lifestyle, mood and individual needs.
Chuan spa’s quiet and relaxing ambience is designed to be a luxurious retreat away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The space utilises calming hues, timber materials and Chinese-inspired sliding doors and entrance ways to create its unique atmosphere.
The opening of The Langham’s Gold Coast Chuan spa marks its third Chuan Spa destination in Australia. Its other locations can be found in New Zealand, China, the United States, Indonesia and the United Kingdom.
