Nike Inc. has opened a second Nike Rise concept store in the U.S., choosing Bellevue, Washington to host the new sporting goods outlet.
Located in the Bellevue Square Mall, the 8,800-square-foot Nike Rise store uses technology to offer product information, digital returns, shipping from stores, and other customer service experiences, in addition to retailing Nike’s full product assortment.
The Nike Rise concept was first launched in 2020 in Guangzhou, China as a test. Today, the company operates Nike Rise stores in Seoul, South Korea and London, as well as in Miami, which opened in November last year.
The Bellevue store opening is the first to take place on the west coast and signals the next stage of Nike’s brick-and-mortar expansion, as the company looks to scale the concept across the U.S. in 2023.
Most recently, Nike closed its longtime downtown Seattle flagship store in January this year, not giving a reason for the store closure.
