With a 200hp engine, the Sarrazin-designed Antares 7 can reach 33 knots, but its hull has been optimised for cruising at 21 knots, while a bow thruster is an option.
Following some of the design advancements shown on the Antares 8, the Antares 7 features include a side boarding door, large starboard walkway, integrated rack in the hard top, versatile berths, storage and an optional separate head.
The aft cockpit features three-sided seating including a fold-down port bench in the freeboard and an aft bench that can contain a cooler, with the seating area able to be converted into a sunbathing area. The foredeck includes a sunpad and an anchor locker.
The interior includes a dinette with a table that can be lowered to create a berth, while to starboard is a galley with hob, sink and fridge.
Forward is the helm seat, which can rotate to face the dinette, while the backrest on the forward bench seat to port can be reversed to transform it into companion seating while under way.
The forward cabin has a standard double berth and a storage space to starboard, fitted with a chemical toilet. The optional Weekender lower-deck layout has a separate head that includes a sink.
The Fishing version replaces the aft bench with a fishing station including rod holders, drink holders, cutting board and storage for bait and tackle, while a live bait well is on the port side.
The wheelhouse roof can be equipped with five additional rod holders, as well as a spotlight and an additional nine-inch display connected to the depth sounder.
