The Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 S2 is a flagship True Wireless earbud model that maintains its industry-leading hi-resolution sound while making significant upgrades to connectivity, battery life, user experience, and design. The earbuds are now available in three new premium finishes: Satin Black, Canvas White, and Midnight Blue, offering a wide range of choices for users. The Pi7 S2 features 9.2mm bespoke Bowers & Wilkins drive units, joined by a high-frequency balanced armature driver, actively driven by its own amplifier.
One of the most significant improvements in the Pi7 S2 is the increased Bluetooth range of up to 25m, providing an even more stable, high-quality listening experience. The earbud battery life has also been improved, offering up to five hours of listening time before a recharge is required. The charging case provides an additional 16 hours of battery life, and a quick charge function delivers an extra two hours of listening time from just a 15-minute charge.
The Bowers & Wilkins Music App now fully integrates with the Pi7 S2, offering a seamless user experience, including setup, the configuration of noise cancellation modes, and wear sensor adjustment. The app also supports hires streaming capability direct from your mobile device to your earbuds via services such as Qobuz, TIDAL and Deezer.
The Pi7 S2 also offers Wireless Audio Retransmission, a breakthrough feature that enables users to connect to an external audio source and wirelessly retransmit audio from that source to the earbuds via the Smart charging case. Both the Pi7 S2 and Pi5 S2 can be controlled via a simple one-button user interface, coupled with voice assistant support via either Siri or Google Assistant.
The Pi7 S2 offers Adaptive Noise Cancellation to produce the best possible, uninterrupted listening experience, paired with six microphones for crystal-clear sound quality with phone calls. It also supports high-resolution music transmission from compatible streaming services and devices, enabled by 24-bit/48kHz wireless transmission between each earbud, making it one of the very few True Wireless earbuds that can support high-resolution audio.
The Pi5 S2 offers the best audio performance in its class, with TWS technology for robust, high-quality earbud-to-earbud synchronisation, coupled to a single 9.2mm bespoke drive unit in each earbud. It supports CD-quality playback, user-selectable noise-cancelling, and an ambient pass-through mode, with twin built-in microphones per earbud for high-quality phone calls.
