Honeymoon specialist Kuoni analysed over two million #honeymoon posts to reveal the top honeymoon destinations around the world, according to Instagram.
7. Greece
With over 24K mentions, Greece enters the most Instagrammed honeymoon chart at No.7. Common emojis used in posts include the sunset and water wave symbols. Santorini comes out on top as one of the most popular places; with its iconic blue domed buildings and luxury hotels and spas.
6. Hawaii
Hawaii has just under 29K mentions. The exotic flora and fauna of this volcanic archipelago are a massive draw for honeymooning couples. As for cute Hawaii Instagram emojis? The palm tree and hibiscus flower are the two most popular emojis in a Hawaiian honeymoon post.
5. Mexico
Mexico makes it into the top 5 most Instagrammable honeymoon destinations, with just under 30K mentions. Clear favourite, Cancun, is in nearly half of the posts. The city is known for its beach parties and Instagram-worthy honeymoon activities. Think: tours of eco parks and reef visits, to dinner on a Spanish Galleon Columbus ship at sunset.
4. Italy
Ah, la dolce vita. Italy is third European destination to appear in the top 10 thanks to over 37K Instagram #honeymoon posts. Get ready for a honeymoon feast here… The spaghetti and pizza emojis popping up, alongside the red wine and clinking bubbles glasses.
As for where to go in Italy on honeymoon? Rome and Venice appear often and Florence and Positano are also popular.

The Maldives takes 2nd place with a huge 52K mentions in #honeymoon Instagram posts. Sunsets, ocean waves, exotic fish and cocktails are the most used emojis for these islands.
