Passalacqua - Valentina

Valentina de Santis
OWNER OF PASSALACQUA, LAKE COMO
Running luxury hotels is in the blood for Valentina de Santis, whose family has owned five-star Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como for more than five decades. Now at the helm of Passalacqua, an opulent 18th-century aristocrat’s-home-turned-boutique-hotel, on the banks of Lake Como, she is continuing that legacy. In 2019, De Santis was ranked one of the 100 most successful Italian women by Forbes. In 2021, she won the Patrizio Cipollini Award as ‘Italian Hotelier of the Year’ and in 2022, she was named ‘Hotelier of the Year’ in the sought-after Virtuoso Awards.
