South Korean fast-food chain Mom’s Touch is poised to enter Mongolia through a master franchise deal with local partner Foodville Farm.

The first Mom’s Touch store in Mongolia is set to open in the first half of this year, followed by at least six more by the end of the year.

Foodville Farm was established in Mongolia by franchise operator Monbakery for the Mom’s Touch operation. The South Korean business also owns the Caffe Bene coffee franchise and the Tous les Jours bakery chain.

The company said the market has a growing demand for South Korean products amid the increasing popularity of K-wave content.

South Korean c-store chain GS25 entered Mongolia in 2021, reaching its 100th store in the market just a year after. The company aims to reach more than 500 locations in the country by 2025.
