KUALA LUMPUR: A 43-year-old babysitter was arrested last Saturday on suspicion of being negligent, causing an eight-month-old baby in her care to be injured in the face and ears.
Ampang Jaya District Police Chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the woman was arrested at her home in Taman Putra, Ampang here at 11.45pm after a police report was made by the baby’s mother last Friday.
“Last Friday, the baby’s 32-year-old mother took her daughter from the suspect’s house at 5.40pm and found bite marks on the face and bruises on both the baby’s ears, before referring the baby to Ampang Hospital for examination,” he said in statement here today.
